Why does Rosedale charge privately when other local practices bulk bill?

Private billing funds the things that bulk-billing clinics structurally can't afford: longer appointments, the same GP every visit, on-site pathology and imaging, and allied health that's integrated with your GP care rather than referred away. The gap fee is what makes that model possible.

How quickly do I get my Medicare rebate back?

We process your rebate electronically at the time of payment. Most patients see it back in their account within 24 hours.

I'm on a pension or health care card. Do I still pay a gap?

Most of our GPs bulk bill pension cardholders, DVA Gold cardholders, and children under five. A private fee applies for all patients seen by Dr Jaspreet Saini and Dr Natasha Paul. See our billing models below to find the right GP for your situation, or call reception and we'll help you work it out.

Is the gap fee the same for telehealth?

Yes. We charge the same fee whether you're seen in person, by phone, or by video. No discount for telehealth, but no premium either.
