What Fees Can You Expect at Rosedale Medical Practice?

Standard Fee Schedule

Our fees are generally based on appointment duration, and are the same for face-to-face, telephone, and video consultations.

Our fees for the most common consultation types are listed below:

• Standard Consult (Up to 15 mins): $80
• Long Consult (Up to 30 Mins): $160
• Mental Health Care Plan: $160
• Mental Health Care Plan Review: $160

Fees are payable at the time of consultation by cash, EFTPOS or credit card. We do not accept AMEX or DINERS. Our fees are also displayed at the reception desk, as well as in our Practice Information Sheet which is available in the waiting room.

Children under the age of five and Pension Card holders are bulk-billed at the discretion of each medical practitioner.

Fees for procedures such as skin biopsies, excisions and minor surgeries can vary depending on the type of service required. We therefore encourage you to speak with your doctor about any fees involved.

Cancellation Fee

Rosedale Medical Practice values your time and strives to provide quality health care for all patients. However, sometimes patients may fail to show up for their appointments or cancel them at the last minute. This can affect the availability of appointments for other patients who need urgent care. Therefore, Rosedale Medical Practice has a cancellation policy that applies to all patients. If you do not attend your appointment, or if you cancel it within 4 hours of the scheduled time, you will be charged a cancellation fee of 50% of the consult fee. This fee is not covered by Medicare or private health insurance and must be paid before booking another appointment. Please be respectful of our staff and other patients and notify us as soon as possible if you cannot make it to your appointment. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
