We blend compassion with innovation to deliver truly person-centred health care.
Since first opening our doors in 1995, Rosedale Medical Practice West Pennant Hills has grown to become a thriving health care hub, home to a team that genuinely cares and loves what they do, and patients that receive the best possible care every time they visit our practice.
Our practice combines traditional, relationship-based and personalised health care, with modern technology, innovation and thought leadership. We offer a comprehensive range of general practice services and have thoughtfully designed our entire health care experience around your needs and comfort.
Being accountable means we take responsibility for our patients’ experience of the entire health care ecosystem. We strive to be the best in the world in two key areas – our intimate understanding of our patients and their families, and our commitment to be there for you and with you when it matters, no matter where you are in your health care journey. Our contribution to health care extends beyond the four walls of our practice. We actively contribute to health care leadership and shape the future of our profession so that patients receive the health care they want, need and deserve. We call it ‘Care Outside the Box’.
Here’s what you can expect as a patient of our practice:
> Consistent Clinical Excellence.
When you visit Rosedale Medical Practice, you can be at ease that your health care needs will be met by the best health care practitioners in the field. Our receptionists know you by name, and our doctors and nurses take the time to get to know you and deliver truly personalised care. We take responsibility for your health care outcomes, and work closely with your medical specialists and allied health care providers to ensure your health care experience is seamless, connected and designed around your needs.
> A Health Care Team that Listens.
Our doctors and nurses are understanding and listen. They will never rush you. They spend time explaining what’s going on and how to address it. They show compassion and have a very strong work ethic. Our receptionists go the extra mile to ensure that you receive the best possible patient experience. They are very important members of your care team, pay attention to the small details and will go out of their way to ensure your comfort.
> Personalised Health Care.
We believe in the philosophy of “nothing about you, without you”. We take great care to ensure that you are involved in all decisions regarding your health care, and that you have the information and resources that you need to make the right choices for you and your family. We work with you to design our practice environment, culture and systems in a way that best meets your needs and places you at the centre of all decisions relating to your health. We actively seek feedback and would like for you to tell us how we could be doing even better.
> Improvement Culture.
We commit to building a better and more connected health care system, lead by teams that are wildly passionate about delivering exceptional, person-centred health care. Our care teams have quality improvement in their DNA and they work in partnership with patients to optimise health outcomes. We measure patient experience and outcomes through validated tools that assist us in optimising our practice, ensure what we are doing today is better than what we did yesterday, and ensure that we are continuing to meet the needs of our patients.
> Real-time Patient Monitoring.
We use a highly sophisticated shared care management platform called CareMonitor to track the health status of our patients with complex and chronic health needs. Some of our patients benefit from continuous monitoring systems that alert their care teams when things go off track. By responding early, we believe we can work with our patients to keep them healthy, safe and wherever possible, out of hospital. It’s the added peace of mind many of our patients and their families want from their health care team, and our way of saying that we’re with you when it matters.
Rosedale Medical Practice was founded more than 20 years ago by Dr Anne Lowe and Dr Elizabeth Pratt. We are proud to recognise their extraordinary contribution in building a practice that we can be proud of, and that serves the community by providing truly person-centred, relational, holistic and compassionate health care.
Did you know? The house in which our practice is located was once owned by the Curtis family. It is also famouly known by many of our patients as Molly’s house from the Australian TV Show, ‘A Country Practice’.
