We are excited to share that our practice has expanded with the addition of Dr Corina Vidgen, a highly experienced GP who is dedicated to providing personalised and compassionate care to all patients. Corina values the power of listening and is eager to hear your unique story to ensure your care is tailored to your individual needs. As a devoted mother of two and a former national karate competitor, Corina understands the importance of staying active and maintaining good health. She enjoys reading and participates in a variety of activities such as cycling, yoga and bodyboarding in her free time. Corina is available to see patients on Wednesdays from 8:30 am to 6:00 pm and on Fridays from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm. She has extensive expertise in paediatrics (Child Health), sports medicine, women's health, and mental health issues, including psychotherapy. Patients referred to her via a Mental Health Care Plan are eligible for additional rebates. Corina graduated with a Bachelor of Science with a major in Anatomy from the University of NSW in 1997 and earned her post-graduate medicine qualification from the University of Sydney in 2001. She holds a Graduate Certificate in Sports Medicine from the University of Sydney and has received prestigious awards, including the Paxinos-Watson Prize for First Place in Neuro-anatomy and the Jane Skillen Prize for First Place in the Anatomy course overall. At our practice, we pride ourselves on providing exceptional care, and Corina's compassionate and knowledgeable approach aligns perfectly with our values. We are delighted to announce that Dr Jessica Chen has joined our practice and is now accepting new patients. As a GP Registrar in the final stages of her specialty training in General Practice, Jessica brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to our team. Jessica graduated with Distinction from the University of New South Wales and was awarded the prestigious Katherine Georgouras Prize for Dermatology in 2019. She is passionate about all aspects of general practice, with a particular interest in women's health, paediatrics, mental health, and dermatology (skin-related issues and skin cancer). As a patient-focused doctor, Jessica prioritises the wellbeing and comfort of her patients, and is always willing to go the extra mile to ensure their needs are met. She is also committed to the wellbeing of junior doctors and was nominated for the Junior Medical Officer of the Year Award at Concord Repatriation General Hospital in 2021. Additionally, Jessica can provide consults in Mandarin to support our Mandarin-speaking patients. Jessica is trained in a range of dermatological procedures, including punch biopsies, excisions, shave biopsies, curettage, and cautery. Her advanced skills in this area allow her to provide thorough and effective treatment for a variety of skin conditions. Dr R. Michael Crampton is a highly experienced and compassionate GP, having practiced for over 40 years. He believes that the real value of general practice is in building long-term relationships with his patients, and being there for them at every stage of their lives. He has even had the privilege of serving up to five generations of families as their trusted GP. Michael is excited to now be a part of the Rosedale community, and is looking forward to getting to know each and every one of his patients. He takes the time to listen to his patients' concerns and provide them with comprehensive care, tailored to their individual needs. In addition to his Fellowship in General Practice, Michael holds a Diploma in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. This allows him to provide expert care in women's health and family planning. Michael's passion for healthcare extends beyond his work as a GP. He served as the Clinical Lead for the Western Sydney Integrated Care Demonstrator Program until 2018, working to improve patient care and outcomes through more connected and coordinated healthcare services. He also has a strong background in digital transformation, holding a Graduate Diploma in Health Informatics. As a respected supervisor of medical students and GP Registrars, Michael has previously served as the Clinical Director and Director of Training for WentWest. His contributions to leadership, advocacy and medical education have been recognized with numerous awards, including the RACGP GP of the Year in 2014. Dr Anne Lowe graduated from Sydney University in 1980. She always wanted to work in general practice and trained at Hornsby Hospital, The Children's Hospital (then at Camperdown) and did further training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at St Margaret's Hospital in Darlinghurst. Anne then commenced working in general practice and has continued doing this ever since. Her aim is not only to treat illness but also to promote wellness by providing personal comprehensive patient-focused care, looking after her patients through the various challenges of their lives.

Meet Jas, a Specialist General Practitioner with extensive experience in providing personalised and holistic healthcare to his patients. Jas is an Honorary Lecturer at Macquarie University and a GP Supervisor for various universities, including RACGP, Macquarie University, Western Sydney University, and the University of Sydney. He is also a proud member of the Australian Society of Lifestyle Medicine, reflecting his dedication to promoting health and wellbeing. Jas has a broad range of interests, including sports medicine, paediatrics, lifestyle medicine, pregnancy care, men's health, women's health, chronic conditions such as diabetes, and minor surgery. He has a particular passion for mental health and always takes a compassionate and patient-centred approach to care. Jas is also committed to sharing his knowledge and expertise with the next generation of medical professionals. He enjoys teaching and mentoring GP Synergy Registrars and students from various universities, and he is a respected leader in his field, advising for several key health tech companies. Practice Nurse Amanda is a highly skilled and compassionate nurse who is committed to providing exceptional care to her patients. She has a wealth of experience in various areas of nursing, particularly in chronic disease management and wound care. Amanda has a gentle approach that is well-suited for patients of all ages, including young children who may be apprehensive during their immunisations. In addition to her experience, Amanda is always seeking to expand her knowledge and skillset. She is currently participating in the Transition to Primary Care Nursing Program, which is aimed at upskilling nurses to work more effectively in a primary care setting. She has also completed a Wound Closure Course, which allows her to assist GPs with suturing during procedures, ensuring a smoother and more efficient process for patients. Amanda is passionate about providing high-quality care to the elderly, and she is involved in providing in-home over 75 health assessments. This is part of our practice's commitment to helping older Australians maintain their independence, confidence, and safety in their own homes. Furthermore, Amanda is currently undertaking the Nurse Immuniser Course, which will allow her to independently administer vaccinations to patients. This is a valuable skill that enhances the services our practice can provide, particularly during flu season and other outbreaks. With her extensive experience, ongoing education and training, and her compassionate approach to patient care, Amanda is an invaluable member of our team. He understands that managing multiple medications can be overwhelming, which is why he works closely with you to ensure that your medications are being used safely and effectively. By reviewing all of your medications, including prescription medicines, over-the-counter medicines, and any complementary medicines or supplements, Chris can identify any potential interactions or side effects to ensure your health is optimized. Chris is also an essential part of our practice's quality improvement efforts. He is skilled in identifying and optimizing the care of patients with chronic kidney disease, chronic lung disease, heart disease and diabetes. With his expertise in medication management and collaborative approach with our GPs, Chris ensures that our patients receive the best possible care. Chris has years of experience in GP practices in the UK, specializing in acute and emergency care as an advanced pharmacist in NHS hospitals before moving into a GP pharmacist role treating a large range of clinical conditions, long term and short term, including stroke, diabetes, AF, hypertension, asthma and mental health. He has extensive experience in medication reviews to ensure the correct usage of medication and addressing any potential queries. Currently, Chris is focusing on assisting us with heart health checks to ensure the early detection and optimal management of heart disease.
